LOL, I just realized I totally forgot to write the second part of the trip and frankly, I'm too lazy to do it now. I was supposed to write it upon landing or write it on the plane but well, things weren't as expected. Yeah... just realized the second part was not written when I came on here to look at my blog to see what was my last thoughts written on it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow, here really goyang kaki makan kari. Don't know what to do on weekends. I don't have many friends here or friends I see often (except Kev and Ravi, a Singaporean guy) since the only other person I befriended lives in Fort Worth. So, I just sit in my room and game and do whatever assignments I have. It's like everyone has their own clique and now I know how the international students feel in Sunway. I used to think that maybe they had friends who were not in my classes or maybe they just were the loner type but now I realize as the locals, we made our own cliques and the appearance made us somewhat unapproachable?
Yeah, so I was at the UC's Rosebud Theatre watching Wreck-It Ralph. There was this Asian couple sitting in front of me. They were being lovey-dovey but not to an extreme extent of diabetes. Okay, maybe when the guy was feeding the girl but then again, I don't think they expect people to be looking at them and not the movie (in my defense, their seats were almost level with mine. I had to see past them to see the movie so naturally, I notice everything going on). Then the guy suddenly took off his jacket. At first I was like, "wah, dumbass, if you feel hot in this type of weather, don't wear jacket or wear a thinner one. Or showing off to girlfriend". Then he draped the jacket over his girlfriend. Man, I feel like an asshole at that point. And I feel utmost jealousy. No, not at the girl. At the guy, for having the opportunity to do that for a girl.
Mm... just random down feeling. Just lonely I guess.

Malacca- Port Dickson- Bahau Trip Day 1 Dec 2012
I know, I know... I've neglected this blog for quite some time. I didn't mean to but sometimes there isn't anything to write on. So let us go on with the show.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll write these things up here first since people like Kev confirm will say TL; DR and skip reading past here. I apologize first if I pissed you off or scared any of you with my driving. I am really glad that I got to go to a trip with all of you and get to know you all better. Also I feel a tinge of regret that so late only I get to know some of you but better late than never right? I really hope you guys enjoyed the trip as much as I do as well as I hope you guys will remember this three days together :D
Oh btw, I don't get a pic with each of you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We all met up in Sunway and arranged ourselves in my car. It was Kev as my co-driver, as I call it, at the front passenger seat; Bernice, Gan and Shane in the middle 3 passenger seats and Justin enjoying the space right at the back. I drove following a path I guessed was right (based on Google Map) into the highway Yu Liang told us to get to. I got Kev to become a GPS by repeating the instructions when we were near the spots I wrote down. Once we got into the highway, we were sailing smooth all the way.
We talked and chatted all the way though Bernice was quite quiet every now and then, shy? I don't know and I couldn't really see her in the rear view mirror since she was sitting behind me but I could see Gan sleeping every now and then. I could say among all the times I drove so many people in the car, this was the most enjoyable one. They made an hour plus fly past.
We stopped only once to go toilet and then stopped at Simpang Ampat's toll to wait for Liang. Haiz.... damn funny la that fellow. The night before he made sure I knew the way and we set up a rendezevous point pass the toll. I asked him what if I was early and he told me "I live 1 hour away only from that spot. Confirm will reach before you all. I won't be later one."
We waited.... for about almost an hour? And most of them were hungry (hehehe, I ate a small breakfast before I went to Sunway). So we sat in the car talking while looking at all the random people stopping to go toilet near the toll. There was a huge group of bikers (all riding superbikes) who stopped there too. Kev keep giving us hope (eh, look. Yu Liang is here) and then crushing it (oh wait, that's not him). In the end, we waited longer than we should cause I thought Liang would pass us to reach the meeting point. Actually, he came from another direction >_< He led the way to some pork chop pan mee shop after we decided to go into town for food. It was quite nice though I find that it didn't have enough ingredient :X The leong cha is nice though, very nicely brewed and not watered down.
The hotel that Liang wanted to go was full (Euro something). It was quite a nice place, sadly to say. We parked my car near it and went to drink coconut milk shake. It is damn nice! And the nasi lemak was also damn nice! They go well together; cold and hot, ice and fire. Some of them tapaued another cup but I felt miserly so I didn't, besides, I scared too much ice and sambal will make me stomachache.
Anyways, we got back to the hotel area and found another place after hunting for awhile (we looked around the area near the Euro, then went to the opposite blocks of shops and hotels). Shane pointed out there was more hotels there so we went up and the first one we found had space. Everyone got down put their stuff into the room while Liang and I went to get my car. We parked it under an overhead bridge. I think it's illegal parking with jockeys watching over it. The lady told us that we can't park there at night anyways but we parked it all the way through the afternoon and evening.
So in the room, they had divided the 2 connecting rooms between the 7 of us. Liang, Kev, Justin and Gan were to sleep on the twin bed together while Shane, Bernice and I shared the other room since it had 2 bed. Bernice had one whole bed and blanket for herself while the other bed's mattress was pulled to the floor since underneath the mattress was the bed's frame with padding. Shane volunteered to sleep on the frame so I got the mattress. They ordered extra pillows so that we all could have one.
I took a bath and KOed (can't remember which one first) on the mattress for about 10 mins plus since I had 0 sleep the night before (too excited la, first time driving so far and with so many people). I woke up totally refreshed. And I only slept awhile since everyone was next door making noise so I decided not to miss the fun XD We went to this Crêpe place after everyone refreshed themselves. There was a lot of people so we all sat outside waiting for a table. Shane and Kev had a battle, to see who's phone camera is the best.
I don't know what was the outcome of the duel, though I think they settled it somehow. Anyways. We got in to the place but there wasn't enough chairs. We had to squeeze awhile before we got the extra chair to sit on. Liang ordered 5 pieces for us 7 to share. And unbeknownst to Justin and I, we were celebrating both our birthdays (yeah, we didn't celebrate Justin's in our normal way or at all. We just delayed it until now XD).
It feels quite damn nice to get to celebrate it with all of you :D I didn't take any pics since they took pics of Justin and I blowing candles and cutting cakes. So, wait for the rest to upload.
We left the crepe place after finishing the 5 cakes like a hungry mob. It was 2 original flavor, 1 gula melaka, 1 chocolate and 1 cheese. They were really good and tasty. Once again, we sat in Liang's Estima (if it fits, we sits) and he drove us to Mahkota Parade since it was gonna rain and we postponed our Jonker Street visit. I can't remember when we ate satay celup, it was okay la to me.
At first we wanted to watch movie but there wasn't anything so we went to the arcade. I went and played the basketball shooting game and found that after so long, I suck at it again. Kev and Shane as usual, went and challenge each other to Daytona >_> Then since I had extra coins after playing a punching game (oh damn, I'm weak >_<), I went and play this DDR type of game with Shane. We both died playing it. It was too damn fast and close, impossible to hit all if any. We both sweat like shit and I think Shane kena asthma attack afterwards also. We left Mahkota Parade after that to go Jonker, thankfully the rain was over.
Lucky the earlier rain was light so the floor was quite dry. We walked around, eating curry fish/meat balls and other stuff (the sugar encrusted fruits are really bad for the throat, feels damn dry after eating). After walking awhile, Liang, Bernice, Justin and I went and eat first while the other 3 go hang gai. Liang and I ate mee siam while Justin ordered squid with vege and Bernice ate lady's fingers with some sweet sauce. Mee siam was okay, I don't really like feeling of lady's fingers (come one la, it feels damn slimy) though the sauce covering it and Justin's plate of squid was damn small haha. In the end, Gan, Shane and Kev came to our table. Kev bought a head scratcher thing (eh, macha, you left it in my car. I'll pass it to you tomorrow though I think you won't know about it until I pass it to you tomorrow). Quite fun to play with haha. We continued walking on Jonker (at first we were a bit lazy after eating but..) and Shane bought some durian cream puffs (all you people who don't eat durian... haiz...). It felt like eating cold liquidish durian wrapped in bread, in other words, damn nice! Saw this nice hall too.
After that as we walk, we started walking at diff speed so all of us splitted up in a way. At first I was walking with Liang while he was looking at sandals but somehow or rather I ended up walking alone (probably accidentally ditched him :P). I decided to walk alone after contemplating on calling someone since it was a straight road, I would inadvertently walk into one of them. I walked and looked at the stalls but I somehow ended at the end of the road without running into any of them (typical of me; always the lone wolf). They had a damn nice deco there though.
After snapping the above pic and looking at trishaws, I saw the rest and rejoined them. We walked an alternate route back to Liang's car and along the way we took pics near the river. The river looks scary at night >_<
We went makan lala and seafood after that. You can taste the lala's natural taste since they don't put sauce on it instantly. The big platter of fishball and fu chuk pei and taufu also damn nice though the table is damn dirty when we arrived.
After eating, we went back to the hotel (Nd Hotel) to sleep. I think all of us bathed before we all sat in my side of the room. Gan was asleep so we let him sleep while we shut the lights and told ghost stories. I think Kev was the one who was most creeped out since even the towel and shirt in the dark creeped him out. End up we on the light again as we talk. After talking for about an hour (?), we all slowly go to sleep.
Well, I'll stop here first. I'm sure you all also lazy read la.
End of Day 1.

Malacca Vacation July 2012
Came back from Malacca 9 hours ago. It was a great fun so I'll like to thank all the organizers of this event and all the people who went for making it such a great memory!
Alright, so let's start with this post.
Went to Sunway at 8 am, stopped for a few second to pick Weng Hong up from the fire-station. We all reached there early so we waited for the people driving to arrive. Roughly we left around 8.30-8.45 am in 2 cars:
1.) Rikesh's Getz - Rikesh (driver), Shane, Kev, Justin and I
2.) Nursabrina's Innova - Weng Hong (driver), Wen Ee, Joseph, Gan, Nursabrina, Sabrina, Julie, Niki.
We got a map from someone's mom (I forgot who it was because I was still feeling like sleeping) and we followed it exactly. Apparently, the map-drawer forgot to mention the few left turnings we were not supposed to take. Thus, Rikesh just flew down the highway with a GPS in one-hand and a phone occasionally in the other.
Flying at unimaginable speeds, we arrived at Alor Gajah Toll really fast. We called Naethen and he told us to wait half an hour for him as he needed to change his car battery. Awhile later, the 2nd car arrived. So instead of waiting for Naethen, we ventured out towards A'Famosa Resort by GPS. We went in circled round and decided to go eat. So following the nearest food located on the GPS, we set out on a 20 minute drive to find a lot of restaurants and stalls weren't open yet. Bloody hell, I thought Perak was slow in opening up in the morning but 1 p.m is too much >_>
So we found a nice mamak to sit down and eat some tosai. Funny thing was the whole time, Naethen had to call us to find out where the hell were we and we kept switching places till he blur. After chatting and eating, we left to the Resort again. We had to pay a RM500 deposit and I was inclined to pull out my card to do it first but I was afraid so I didn't. Since only 6 of us out of the 3 cars' 16 people were there, we split it to a RM100 each.
After getting the keys, Nursabrina led us on a drive to find the place. She led us all the way back to the entrance and then we found out our place was just about 100 meters away from where we paid the deposit. So after another long drive back, we threw all our luggage into the bungalow.
Expensive but nice place. It has a pool too.
We freshened up a bit inside and switched on all the airconds before going to the Animal World Safari. It wasn't too bad, we got to see some tigers, lions, eagles, cute monkeys, a shitting orang-utan and a bunch of shows (Mixed Animal Show, not really nice; Cowboy Show, not bad, the ending was nice; Bird Show, this was nice, well done). We got into this stupid boat to go to a place called Monkey Island. It was a piece of land in the middle of a lake with only 5-15 tiny cute monkeys (or lemurs like Mort), a peacock and King Julian (might explain the lemur-looking monkeys).
King Julian! I found you!
It took us around 3 minutes top to walk a whole circle on the island before we went back to the dock to wait for the boat. The reason I called it a stupid boat was that if too many people were on one side, the bloody thing capsizes. And by too many, I mean one or two.
We went on the safari truck after the island. Somehow or rather, most of the animals had their asses facing towards us...
Lions were bloody skinny while the tigers looked normal. Lots of deers everywhere (not in the same zone as the predatory animals of course)
After the AWS, we went back to take bathes and get ready for dinner. We were supposed to get to the Cowboy town by 8.45 but somehow or rather, dinner took us till 9+ and we reached the Town at 10+. We missed the fireworks but it wasn't too spectacular anyways. So we ended up taking some pictures there and getting out back to our lodging.
At the lodging, the guys jumped into the pool. Except Eugene >_>. Naturally, all the girls avoided the pool. We laughed and made as much noise as we wanted since the neighbouring houses were empty (wohoo!). From the quite dark pool, we could see lots of stars. Without the air and light pollution of the city, the sky was lit up by many tiny dots like diamonds in the sky.
After spending like half an hour in the pool, I got out and waited to dry out before taking my bath. Most of the guys just took of their trunks and wrapped a towel around their waist before walking into a living room full of people\ to avoid dripping all over. I, on the other hand, was not so comfortable with the idea, thus the standing outside waiting to dry up.
After taking a quick shower (and with a lot of people outside the bathroom looking at their muscles through the mirror at the washbasin located right outside the bathroom, I didn't feel a long bath was wanted), I went to the living room and watched TV with the rest while occasionally playing Chor Dai Di and Cluedo. Someone tried to start up a Truth or Dare game but he failed. We celebrated Naethen's birthday early there. After that we drank the soda Joseph bough till around 2 am before turning in and sleeping.
The next day, 8 of them went for the breakfast buffet. Note: Them. I woke up late so they went since the coupon was only for 8. The rest of us had a 12 bucks breakfast of bread. We decided the paintball place looked crappy and it was expensive, so we ended up not playing. After stoning for a few hours, we set of for lunch. It was probably the last lunch I would be having with most of them, save Justin, Kev, Shane and Gan. The rest of them were flying off in a week or so. T_T
So we ate Pizza Hut (wow, it has been awhile since I last stepped into one) and chatted some more before going to Petronas to top up the Touch and Go cards (but the gas station there didn't supply that service). I said what will probably be my final goodbye to Naethen and Eugene since I wouldn't be seeing them in a long time (probably will go KLIA when they fly off).
Naethen led the way back to Alor Gajah Toll and there we went our separate ways or at least that's what the poet in me says. After the toll, he took the left turn while we took the ride. The rest of the way back was not as much joking as when we were going to Melaka since we were all tired out.
It was a great trip and farewell.

Quick Update
So. Another crossroad approaches... my safety zone is somewhere behind me on this path.
I find that while I had an exponential emotional growth in the last 2 years of high school, it was due to circumstances at that point. Eventually I realised that was just another phase in life (okay, fine, it lasted till mid last year).
I realised that the ADTP system really helps in building up people. Some people don't notice because they're not involved but others do feel the difference between the normal Malaysian school education system and the American system. Dang, the Yanks have got something here. Also, I'm not sure if being in the STACT (for a few months) and Sun-U Council (as an executive member) had a hand in it but I think getting myself involved in organizing activities had help.
So the quick update:
1.) Had a great time playing against Yong Jie and gang in basketball. Sure we lost but heck, we had loads of fun against them.
2.) It's the end of the sem and a large chunk of my current friends are leaving. Can't expect to be with them the whole time, something I learnt from high school.
3.) The freaking exams are here in 2 weeks.
4.) No grapher for Differential Equation in said exams. Challenge accepted.
5.) A rival has been discovered. But the code stands. Friends first.
6.) Been playing more bball. Need to get back to my form five fitness level, which was the highest IMO. Needa pick up TKD again probably. And play more bball...

Paradigm Shift
So I felt life was actually going nowhere with my chronic procrastination and League of Legends addiction, thus I decided to just up and go. I deleted LoL and decided to minimise gaming time and increase studying time. So far it's working but as expected the change is slow, one cannot simply just shift their minds in a day.
Life's been life. Once again shining brilliance (and insufferable ego) has slightly outcasted me among some. At least this time round it doesn't affect friends.
And I got around to really thinking about the future. It scares me yet it's a jump into the unknown I'm willing to take. For a person who thinks he thinks a lot, I don't actually think much. I just jump right off the (metaphorical, if you haven't caught on) edge and think after. I just feel like I subconsciously processed everything sometimes and I just instinctively go with the decision which is why the more time I'm allowed to think with, the less better it is sometimes.
So here's a toast to the unknown!

Assassin's Creed
So, most of you will probably know how big of a AC fan (I see a pun here but I'm not gonna point it out) I am. I was thinking of pre-ordering the newest AC which is AC3 and also, I thought of modifying my hoodie. I wanna add the assassin beak to it. And maybe get the assassin's logo on the back. Or an eagle.
The hard part about it is the sewing. I haven't touch a needle since forever :O
